Dr. Alimorad Farshchian

As you know last year I came to your office seeking an alternative treatment for my severely arthritic left knee and a right knee that was going down the same path. I have had 13 left knee operations and 1 right knee operation over the past 20 years. I have had the best Orthopedic Surgeons in the country operate on my knees and the result has always been the same. Short term relief and more surgeries Specifically my left knee has been bone on bone for almost 7 years and conventional medical opinion left me with one option, a total knee replacement.

I am 45 years old an ex-athlete who thus far has refused to quit a somewhat active lifestyle of playing basketball, skiing, diving and an occasional round of tennis. That is principally the reason I have endured the pain as a total knee replacement would not allow me to participate in such activities. My motto has always been for the love of the game play through the pain I have.

I viewed an ad one day that described the treatments you had advanced and decided I had nothing to loose by trying yet another promised breakthrough and believe me, I've tried them all. When I met with you and your staff I was struck first by your compassionate understanding of what your patients go through. I then focused my attention on what your treatments could do and listened intently as you explained them to me. I decided then to undertake what would be a series of 4 injections over an 8 month or so period of time on my left knee.

To say that I am pain free with 100% range of motion would be unbelievable so I won't. The truth is that prior to your treatments I was a person who had to ice his knee down for an hour before and after basketball, take 3 Advils before and after a game and more throughout the day, go through 3-4 sleepless nights and then not be able to walk without a pronounced limp for 3-4 days. Then I would play again and repeat the cycle. That's to say nothing of the mood that constant pain puts you in.

Today my left knee pain has been cut in half. I take Advil only when needed, I sleep like a baby and I no longer limp for days following activity. I'll also add that prior to your treatments when I would sit through a movie I could hardly walk when I stood up as my knee joint would stiffen. The longer the movie the worse it would be (The Lord of Rings trilogy was a killer) Today that is no longer the case. I am now beginning treatments on my right knee which has some ligament and cartilage problems.

I want to thank you and your staff for taking the chance to go against conventional wisdom with your treatments. I'm sure that even in your own profession some may be skeptical. All I will state with conviction is that the injections work and I'm living proof.

Dear Dr. Farshchian, Nellie, Marie, Nate and Bert,

Just a little note to let you know how the progress on my mom, Mary Ann and my Husband is coming along. Right now the pair of them are really doing quite well in such a short time frame. Most of the days they are pain free and feel great. On our flight home to Idaho, mom never had any back pain at all. And on the way to Miami she was in tears a lot. I haven't seen my mother get around like she is right nor for years. She is standing straighter and going farther every day.

I would like to thank each and every one of you for the time that you took out of your schedules to explain and care for all of us, even me who didn't have any treatments. We have referred several people so far. I hope they make the call. It would be worth it for them.

We will keep in touch and let you know how things progress over the next few months.

Dear Dr. Farshchian,

This letter is about gratitude. I have a twin brother, we share many things together, one of them being inflammation of our joints. Mine is located in my elbow and my brother’s is in his shoulder.

After many years of suffering we were resigned “to live with it.” My brother being a professional golf instructor was devastated, for his job and future in golf was in jeopardy.   Until we found you!

It took two treatments for my elbow, the pain has never returned. My brother had 2 or 3 treatments and is back playing and teaching golf better than ever!

There are no words to thank you for what you have done for us.
